Russian losses in the war in Ukraine as of Wednesday morning, April 10, amounted to 830 occupiers, with the total number of losses for the Russian army since the beginning of the full-scale war reaching 450,080 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed 22 enemy tanks, 47 armored vehicles, and 37 UAVs, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to April 10, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: about 450,080 (+830) individuals;
  • Tanks: 7,132 (+22) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 13,667 (+47) units;
  • Artillery systems: 11,404 (+18) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1,040 (+1) units;
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems: 753 units;
  • Aircraft: 347 units;
  • Helicopters: 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 9,070 (+37) units;
  • Cruise missiles: 2,067 (+2) units;
  • Warships/boats: 26 units;
  • Submarines: 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 15,248 (+67) units;
  • Special equipment: 1,876 (+8) units.

Frontline situation

The Institute for the Study of War reports that fierce battles continue west of Kreminna, with Russian forces losing limited positions due to constant Ukrainian counterattacks.

During the past day, there were 83 combat engagements on the frontlines. The enemy concentrated most of their attacks on the Bakhmut and Novopavlivka directions, conducting 29 and 28 attacks.
