Video: Hammers fan goes deep undercover at The Emirates for Arsenal v Bayern, it's brilliant to see

One West Ham United fan went deep undercover at the Emirates for the Arsenal vs Bayern Munich Champions League clash last night.

The Champions League first-leg match up between Arsenal and Bayern ended in a 2-2 draw, but a West Ham fan stole the show as far as I’m concerned.

David Moyes and his Hammers side are currently preparing for the Europa League quarter-final clash with Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow night.

Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso has already admitted just how seriously he is taking this game, so West Ham will definitely have our work cut-out.

If last night’s viewing was anything to go by, the Hammers face an almost impossible task against Bayer Leverkusen.

Arsenal have been the best team in the Premier League this season, and currently sit top of the table. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have really struggled in the Bundesliga and trail our Europa League opponents by a whopping 16 points.

However, last night’s Champions League clash could not have been any closer. In fact, it could be argued that Bayern deserved to win the game.

They are a top-class side, but the stats above prove just how inferior they have been to Leverkusen this season.

It was an enthralling encounter between the north London club and the Bavarians. However, one thing really stood out for any Hammers fans who were watching…

The Gunners went into the game as favourites, for some strange reason. I get that they’ve performed better domestically this season than Bayern but do people not realise how difficult the Champions League is?

Just look at how long it took for Manchester City to gain a foothold in the competition. In addition to that, Bayern is a squad packed with experienced winners who have been there and done it before.

That was fully evident as the Champions League anthem rang around the Emirates, and the camera panned across the two lineups.

There are some real giants in that Bayern team…literally. However, the person with the most about him on the night didn’t actually play for either side!

Just keep your eye on the young mascot standing in front of Arsenal midfielder Jorginho:

How good is that to see from him! The young West Ham fan gave all of us a chuckle just before the Arsenal vs Bayern Munich clash last night, that’s for sure.

Good on him.
