Monica Garcia reveals she’s pregnant
Monica Garcia has revealed she’s pregnant on The Viall Files podcast. She found out after going into urgent care “for something totally unrelated that I thought was wrong.”
She told the podcast host, Nick, “And the doctor came in and was like, ‘You’re pregnant’. “I’m like, ‘I’m 39! Like, there’s no way. I’m on birth control.’ By all means, I should not be pregnant.”
An “announcement you never saw coming,” Monica says she and her baby father – who weren’t trying for children – “were both in shock” before adding that he’s “been incredible”.
RHOSLC star’s baby father stays secret
Monica Garcia has been keeping her 29-year-old baby father and boyfriend a secret. Although she finalized her divorce with Mike in October, she’s been dating her mystery man for a year.
She met her partner, who works at Utah at Wasatch Excursions, while filming the Bravo show on the property. Monica said, “That is where Heather [Gay] and I shot our snowmobiling scene.
“So, that is when I met him. I was like, ‘Give me your phone.’ He handed me his phone and I put my name and number in there,” she added. Monica initially thought he was a “baby” due to their ten-year age gap.
Monica is a mother to four children
Monica shares four children with her ex-husband, Mike Fowler, including Bri, 18, Jaidyn, 13, West, seven, and Kendall, six. She only found out she’s now expecting a fourth child at 39, three weeks ago.
In a confessional on RHOSLC, Garcia recalled the circumstances around her pregnancy and her split from Bri’s father. She said, “I got pregnant very young. I married her father at the time.”
“He left for work one day, and my daughter was crawling on the floor and I could hear her playing with something. It was a clear plastic bag full of oxycontin,” she recalled, saying she left him soon after.
She was also seen sharing birth photos with her daughter, which she came across while looking for photos of her prom to show Bri. Monica told Bri how her own mom “ripped up” photos of her dad.
