Arsenal star Ben White has claimed that he tries to keep his distance from one of his teammates in training every day.
The Gunners are up there with the best teams in the world. They are currently on top of the Premier League table and are in with a chance of qualifying for the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The standards at the club are so high right now, which means training sessions must be extremely intense under Mikel Arteta.
However, White has now revealed that he follows an ‘unwritten rule’ when he comes up against one of his teammates in training.

Arsenal signed Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano in a deal worth around £7 million back in 2019 (Express).
Nobody had really heard of the Brazilian here in England, but Martinelli became an instant hit at the Emirates Stadium after a phenomenal debut season.
The 22-year-old is one of Arsenal‘s most important players, but he has had a couple of injury issues this season, which has had an impact on his performances.
Martinelli missed two games due to a hamstring injury back in September, while a cut on his foot has limited him to just two starts since the start of March.
Arsenal are being very careful with Martinelli’s fitness in the business end of the season, and it looks like Ben White is keeping his distance from him in training too, so that he doesn’t get injured again.
Speaking to the club’s official website, White said: “I play against Gabriel Martinelli every day in training for example, and to be honest I don’t want to go too near to him most of the time, but at the same time we have to keep it competitive.
“But you know there is a line, and it’s the same for everyone. We all come up against the same people each day, and there’s like an unwritten rule that you don’t go in too hard for a 50-50 or something like that. You can save those for the weekend!
“Every day, me and Martinelli have a one-v-one battle, but then, as soon as the session is over, our relationship is so good. You do your best and give everything when you are training, but you need to look after each other too, you have to be clever.”

Gabriel Martinelli is one of the best players in the Premier League when he’s in form.
The Brazilian is absolutely rapid, can dribble as well as anyone and his shooting is very good as well. He has even been compared to Thierry Henry.
However, for one reason or another, Martinelli hasn’t been at his best this season. He has really struggled to get going on the left flank and that is a massive concern for Arsenal.
The attacker’s numbers this season compared to last term are underwhelming, and we think that needs to change if Arsenal are to go all the way in the Premier League title race.
