Liverpool scouts will be in attendance to watch record-breaking £25m winger in action tonight

According to the latest reports, Liverpool scouts will be keeping their eyes on a record-breaking winger tonight.

Liverpool may be in action tonight, but not everyone working for the club will be watching the Reds take on Atalanta.

The club’s scouts will in fact busy watching other games around the continent as they ramp up speed on Liverpool’s recruitment plans ahead of the summer window.

It’s a window that is expected to be a crucial one for Liverpool. A window in which the club is expected to make several changes.

New arrivals have already come in the boardroom with Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes. There is also going to be a new manager in charge of the club.

And that new manager will want to bring his own ideas and possibly his own players into Anfield. So expect a busy summer ahead.

Who is Antonio Nusa? And is he on Liverpool’s transfer radar?

Someone who could be a good fit for Liverpool this summer is Antonio Nusa. The Danish Club Brugge winger was close to joining Tottenham and Brentford in the January window, with both linked with a £25m move.

However, in the end, he stayed put in Belgium, and has continued to perform at a high level for his club side.

Still 18-years-old, Nusa plays on the left-wing and has eight goal contributions for his club side this season.

He is known to be a rapid attacker who loves to attack space, and is very adept at taking players on.

Based on that description, it’s not a surprise to see him on Liverpool’s radar. According to HLN News, Liverpool’s scouts will be among a host of other scouts in attendance to watch Nusa play for Club Brugge against PAOK in the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals tonight.

What record did Antonio Nusa break in the Champions League?

Despite only being 18-years-old, Nusa has been on the scene for quite some time. He made his senior debut in Norway three years ago now back in 2021.

Since then, he has been on a lot of clubs’ radar. Although he opted to join Club Brugge in the same year he debuted in Norway.

It’s a move that has paid off for Nusa. Back in September 2022, Nusa broke a Champions League record when at the age of 17 years and 149 days, he became the youngest player in the competition history to score on his debut during a 4-0 win over Porto.

He is clearly a top talent and definitely someone to keep an eye on.
