West Ham starting lineup vs Bayer Leverkusen confirmed

West Ham starting lineup vs Bayer Leverkusen confirmed as David Moyes names eagerly anticipated XI.

David Moyes has selected his West Ham United starting lineup in an XI that features a few changes from our clash with Wolves on Saturday.

The Hammers are on the back of a patchy run of form, although we did rack up a vital three points last time out at Molineux.

Meanwhile, Leverkusen are absolutely flying. Xabi Alonso’s side are unbeaten in 41 games in all competitions and are currently sitting top of the Bundesliga table, a whopping 16 points clear of second placed Bayern Munich.

The Hammers will have to be on top form tonight, if we are to have any chance of returning to East London with a positive result.

So what lineup has Moyes gone with?

Moyes has re-jigged his pack for tonight’s Europa League face-off with Leverkusen.

It’s a huge night for the Hammers, and I’m just hoping that we manage to keep the tie alive ahead of the second-leg next week.

Here’s the team that Moyes has selected, as confirmed by UEFA’s official website:

Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal, Kurt Zouma, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Aaron Cresswell, Emerson Palmieri, Tomas Soucek, James Ward-Prowse, Lucas Paqueta, Mohammed Kudus, Michail Antonio

That’s about as good as Moyes could do tonight, with Bowen and Alvarez unavailable.

If the boys stick together, defend well, and press with intensity and agression, we can nick a result tonight, I’m sure of it.
