Suffolk Police appeal after women injured in two-vehicle crash on the A143 in Wattisfield, between Bury St Edmunds and Diss

Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses after two women were injured after a serious collision on the A143 in Wattisfield, between Bury St Edmunds and Diss.

Officers were called to reports of the crash between a black Volkswagen Polo and a black Vauxhall Zafira at just before 2.35pm on Wednesday, April 10.

The driver and passenger in the Polo were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed as the vehicles were recovered and reopened just before 5.45pm.

Ambulance and fire crews also attended the scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
