A deluge of rain today has caused flooding in parts of Diss and Roydon. Water has been seen rushing down Diss high street and traffic has been backing up either way coming into Roydon due to a section of the road being flooded. A pub has returned to normal service this week after a car crashed into the building on Friday. Nobody sustained significant injuries during the incident at the Wortwell Bell, which led to the arrest of a woman for drink driving and dangerous driving. Police are searching for two men after a home in Wortham was broken into and jewellery was stolen. On Tuesday, May 14, at around 1.30pm, two men broke through double doors of a property in Magpie Green. After forcing entry a search was conducted by the pair and jewellery items were stolen.
