On Thursday evening, Texas A&M-Commerce football player Keith Miller died in his apartment. Head coach Clint Dolezel released a statement on the heartbreaking situation.
“We are heartbroken by Keith’s unexpected passing,” head coach Clint Dolezel said. “Keith was a beloved father, son, teammate, and student-athlete. We extend our deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to his family, friends, teammates, and all who loved him at this very difficult time.”
Miller spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Colorado but transferred to Texas A&M-Commerce ahead of the 2022 campaign. He was a team captain for the Lions in 2023.
