Donna Shaw spotted the rubbish beside the road while driving her son to work on Wednesday.

The Sanora Fields resident told KentOnline it has been building up over the last month.

She said: “I take my son to work along that way daily. At one point there were a few black bags but the road has become targeted by fly-tippers.

“It looks like it's on private land but why should they have to remove it as it’s not their crap?

“The lazy people who put it there should have to clean it up.

“It is atrocious how people would do this knowing we have a local refuse site in the town.”

Mrs Shaw, who reported the mess to Swale Borough Council’s social media page, shared the pictures of the waste in a post that saw more than 50 people react.

One person said: “I’ve run my waste removal company for 12 years and this is what happens when you get Joe blogs off Facebook to remove your waste.”

Another commenter stated: “Let's hope there is evidence of culprit somewhere in that rubbish.”

Meanwhile, another person reacted by saying it’s “sad that people want to treat our country like this. I just don’t understand it”.
