Joe Willock lauds Alexander Isak after Newcastle win
One player on Arsenal’s radar is Alexander Isak.
Mikel Arteta and Edu are both big fans of Isak. And it is easy to see why on the evidence of this season, with the Sweden international absolutely flying for Newcastle United.
Isak has now scored 17 times in the Premier League this term. He has been one of the shining lights in what has been a difficult season for Eddie Howe’s side.
And of course, Arsenal fans may have taken some extra joy from his latest performance, with Newcastle dismantling Tottenham at St James’ Park.
Isak scored twice against Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Magpies star should undoubtedly be an Arsenal target
Isak is definitely doing all he can to attract attention ahead of the summer. He has struggled with injuries during his time on Tyneside. But only Erling Haaland and Ollie Watkins have found the back of the net more often in the Premier League.
Of course, Arsenal wanting him and Newcastle selling him are two very different things. The Magpies will be aware that replacing Isak would be such a difficult task, no matter how much they get for him.
But there are not too many world-class number nines around right now. So Newcastle must surely be bracing themselves for bids in the next few years.
