The Cambridge Cambourne Fun Run 2024 took place on a beautiful spring morning and attracted lots of young runners.
Organised by Cambridge & Coleridge Athletic Club, who partnered with Active Training World for the event, the one-mile course in Cambourne took place on the same morning as the Cambridge Cambourne 10K.
Runners aged nine and over could run on their own, with young runners accompanied by adults for the course, which began on the path close to the business park and ended at the park itself.
Some 44 runners completed the course, with Charlie Hill coming home first in 6 min 1 sec. Luke Mould came second in 6:13, with Benjamin Branco (6:23), Ethan Ashwood (6:23) and Ella Morton (6:48) completing the top five.
