Person rescued from lake off Sandy Lane, Ballingdon, near in Sudbury

Firefighters were called to rescue a person from a lake.

They were called to the water off Sandy Lane, Ballingdon, near in Sudbury, at about 3.45pm on Sunday.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said a person was stranded in a lake.

Two fire units from from Princes Street, one from Sudbury, one from Bury St Edmunds attended.

Firefighters were called to the incident by Suffolk Police.

The fire service were able to rescue the person who left in the care of the ambulance service, which also attended.
