Liam Gallagher has just promised to do something 20 times at Everton’s Bramley-Moore Dock stadium

Everton have built a new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock in order to push them forward as a football club.

It was seen by many, not least Farhad Moshiri, as something that simply had to be done in order to offer them the financial platform with which they could build and progress.

However, that was well before this unforeseen PSR dramatics came to the forefront, which has severely hampered life as an Evertonian.

That being said, this new stadium remains just as integral as ever. If anything, it has actually gained more importance, as hopefully a shining light at the end of the tunnel which might drag them out of their current financial abyss and into a brighter future.

Liam Gallagher makes Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium claim

Well, the benefits of a brand-new stadium are plentiful, and not reserved for just football.

Although, it will certainly be a welcome treat for the Toffees, to watch their side play unimpeded by random steel beams and in the comfort of new seats.

However, whether it be hosting concerts or other sports, these additional revenue streams could prove absolutely pivotal in helping Everton recover back to heights they have not really reached for over three decades now.

The former could certainly be kicked off with a bang too, as Liam Gallagher has actually teased what he plans to do in the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium upon its completion.

Arguing on X with a Liverpool fan after their loss to Crystal Palace yesterday, another supporter weighed in, suggesting the two fight out their footballing differences.

Perhaps most pertinent was what he promised to do if he lost, as the fan wrote: ‘If you lose you have to bring Oasis back. Deal?’

Gallagher replied: ‘We’re on our way and we’re doing 20 nights at Everton new footy ground’.

This is what Everton have built a new stadium for

Although he naturally made that comment in jest, given Oasis split up in 2009, rumours have been rather relentless for years now touting the reunion of the Gallagher brothers.

And whether they make the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium their venue of choice for such a return or not, the fact that someone as renowned as Liam Gallagher is aware of it as an option only proves why Everton has built this new arena.

After all, they are certainly set to earn a huge financial boost from the additional gate receipts of an extra 12,000 fans.

This, in turn, will see more food, drink and merchandise purchased every week too.

But in the off-season, what happens then?

Well, now we know.

The Toffees will hopefully be able to tempt in some of the biggest names in music, and thus continue earning vital vunds throughout the year and even across the summer. Every little helps, especially when you sit in the financial position that Everton do.
