Leverington fire in woodland on Church Road is believed to have been started deliberately

A fire which took hold in village woodland at the weekend was thought to have been started deliberately.

A crew from Wisbech was called out to the blaze on Sunday at 3.23pm on Church Road in Leverington.

Four small pockets of fire were extinguished in a woodland area, with firefighters using a hose reel to extinguish the blazes.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
