Celtic summer signing has joined the same agency as Cole Palmer

Amid all the talk over the past few weeks of the Glasgow Derby and Rangers losing to Ross County, an announcement made by Frank Trimbolis’ football agency CAA Base, seems to have gone under the radar.

Trimboli, as the Celtic fans will remember, worked closely with Ange Postecoglou as the former Celtic manager is represented by CAA Base as well where Trimbolli is the Head of Football at the organisation.

CAA also have the likes of Matt O’Riley, Tottenham’s James Maddison and Chelsea’s new superstar, Cole Palmer all on their books.

Celtic winger Luis Palma joins CAA Base

Last week in an announcement on Instagram, CAA Base told how Celtic winger, Luis Palma has also joined their ranks.

The announcement read, “Welcoming Celtic winger @luispalma10_ to CAA Base!

“With 9 goals and 10 assists since joining at the end of the last summer transfer window, the Honduran international has made a big impression in Glasgow.”

It was an announcement that went under the radar and whilst Palma is now part of a football agency that has completed over €500m in transfer business, I don’t think there is any reason for the Celtic fans to have any cause for concern.

Because whilst Palma is now part of the multi-national football agency, he is still being represented by Paulo Hernandez, the agent who looked after his move from Aris to Celtic [Diez]

Palma is a player who has ambitions to play in one of the top five leagues in Europe but he is very happy at Celtic.

And, let’s be honest, he still has a lot more work to do before he can follow in the footsteps of players like Jeremie Frimpong at Bayer Leverkusen or Odsonne Edouard at Crystal Palace.

With Champions League football guaranteed next season for the winners of the SPFL, Palma has plenty of incentive to stay at the Scottish champions for the foreseeable future.
