TV star steps back from vegan food business as it no longer 'follows her values'

Made in Chelsea star Verity Bowditch’s boyfriend is utterly proud of his partner for leaving a business that doesn’t align with her core values. Verity helped run vegan brand, Clean Kitchen, for three years.

Verity Bowditch sat down with her business partner, Mikey, to reveal she’s stepping back from her vegan brand as the business is branching out into non-vegan products to fit the demands of the mass market.

Made in Chelsea star Verity’s boyfriend

Verity Bowditch’s boyfriend appears to be Cameron Jack, a DJ who tours the world playing his music. The Made in Chelsea star first mentioned him on Sophie Habboo’s podcast, saying she is dating a DJ.

She often leaves supportive comments on the London-based producer’s latest music ventures, and is believed to have been in an on-off relationship with him since 2021.

Cameron developed his electronic style over his summers living and DJing at parties in Ibiza. In November 2023, since-denied rumors swirled that Verity was dating Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice.

He’s ‘so proud’ as she leaves Clean Kitchen

Verity revealed that, “after a lot of highs, lows and an amazing whirlwind, and starting off trying to bring vegan food into the mainstream market,” she’s stepping back from running the day-to-day business.

Her boyfriend, Cameron Jack, is overwhelming with pride. Underneath the departure announcement, he commented, “I’m so unbelievably proud of you. You are amazing b ❤️ xxx.”

Verity responded with a heart emoji and a kiss. To “prove they will be a successful business to their shareholders and customers,” they’ll be introducing other dishes that aren’t 100 percent plant-based.

Verity’s three years with the brand

Verity has been running the day-to-day business, Clean Kitchen, for three years. She is now a “different human from when she embarked on the challenge” and hope to scale to fully plant-based in future.

As a co-founder alongside business partner, Mikey, who joined forces with Verity as a graduate in BSC Biomedical science and nutrition whilst being knowledgeable on sustainability.

During her time as a partner, she closed two of her Clean Kitchen Club restaurants 18 months after opening the first restaurant in early 2021 in the heart of London.
