Two teenagers and a 33-year-old woman have been arrested following a burglary and public order offences in a Suffolk town.
Police were called to Belle Vue Park in Cornard Road, Sudbury, shortly before 4.55pm on Friday, April 12, after a group of youths had reportedly broken into an outbuilding and caused damage.
Fire extinguishers were discharged and discarded and high visibility vests were stolen.
The group left on foot towards the town centre and dispersed on police arrival.
A teenage boy then ran into the road on East Street in an attempt to evade arrest.
A black Audi came to a stop as the boy approached, who then placed his hands on the car bonnet. The boy was not injured or hit by the car.
Shortly after 5pm, on Market Hill, a 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital as a precaution, before being conveyed to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre (PIC) for questioning.
He was released on bail until May 22 pending further enquiries.
Following his arrest a group of people, including youths and a woman, approached the police car, shouting, swearing and making attempts to access the vehicle.
One of the youngsters, a teenage boy, approached the car and ripped off a windscreen wiper.
During the course of the incident, PAVA spray was used to resolve the situation safely.
The woman and one of the youths left the scene in a car which was found a short time later at a BP Garage on the B1115.
A 33-year-old woman was subsequently arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds PIC for questioning.
She was issued with a conditional caution for the offences of using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and obstructing/resisting a constable in execution of duty.
A 14-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, criminal damage, obstructing a police officer and assault with intent to resist arrest.
He was taken into questioning and released under investigation pending further enquiries.
