Zelenskyy confirms Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on Dzhankoy airfield

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed on Facebook that Ukrainian troops struck an airfield in occupied Dzhankoy.

"Today, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made a precise strike on the occupiers in Dzhankoy, at the airfield," the President said.

He thanked Ukrainian soldiers for their precision and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, for organizing this operation.

"The occupiers have to lose, and each of their losses is the strength of Ukraine," added the President.

Strike on the airfield in Dzhankoy

Last night, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoy in northern Crimea.

Later, sources in the Armed Forces told RBC-Ukraine that the strike on Dzhankoy was the result of successful actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, said that the airfield in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoy in Crimea is a legitimate target for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
