£39m Chelsea player returns to training after injury, he's got a brand new hairstyle

One Chelsea player has now returned from injury after spending a period on the sidelines due to injury in recent days.

Pictures on theclub website show the Blue in question sporting a brand new hairstyle ahead of their return to action in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Chelsea will be looking to book yet another trip to Wembley when they take on Manchester City for a place in the final of the FA Cup.

Their opponents will likely still have Europe on their mind when the weekend comes around, with them being dumped out of the Champions League on penalties off the back of former Chelsea man Mateo Kovacic missing from the spot.

The Blues meanwhile are coming into the game off the back of a 6-0 victory against Everton in the Premier League, where everything went right forMauricio Pochettino’s men.

They relied heavily on the brilliance of Cole Palmer in front of goal, however they did also pick up their first clean sheet since January in the thumping victory, with a defence put together from those who were fit.

This came off the back of Axel Disasi’s injury, with the Everton game seeing him miss his first game of 2024.

Disasi back in training

It is pretty clear that the Frenchman is part of their best defence at this stage of the season, with this being shown better than ever in his most recent display against Manchester City.

He was partnered by Levi Colwill then, however recent reports have stated that the England international would be unlikely to make it for the semi-final.

Disasi however has been seen in training, and has shown off a brand new hairstyle that could be brought out when the Blues are next in action.

The Frenchman has been a regular ever since joining the club for a fee of around £39m last summer.

It remains to be seen whether Pochettino will look to change his backline though after seeing his side keep their first clean sheet in some time on Monday.
