Harry Kane still has a lot of love for Heung-min Son after leaving Spurs

Losing Kane in the summer has left Ange Postecoglou‘s men with an awful lot of goals to replace.

Fortunately, Spurs’ South Korean captain has been able to return a fair chunk of those goals this season but has certainly missed the service of Kane.

Together, the pair formed the Premier League’s greatest ever partnership as they provided more goal combinations than anyone else

In recent weeks, Kane has had some positive words to say about Son with the England captain providing the South Korean with a celebratory message for his 400 Spurs appearance.

And the kind words have continued this week when Kane was speaking to TV2 Sport as he put together his perfect forward player.

When asked which player he who choose for runs in behind, Kane replied: “Heung-min Son”.

It is also worth noting he also chose current Spurs player James Maddison for ‘cheekiness’ and former Spurs strikers Jermain Defoe and Gary Lineker for ‘finishing’ and ‘fox in the box’, respectively.

What Heung-min Son recently had to say about Harry Kane

It is not just compliments being directed towards the 31-year-old forward with Son also singling Kane out for praise recently.

In response to Kane’s message on Son’s 400 Spurs appearance, the South Korean had some insight to provide on what it was like to play alongside the Spurs record goalscorer.

“Playing with Harry was unbelievable. We’d been training together [for] so long. As soon as he got the ball, he knew where I was and I knew where he was going to pass the ball,” Son said.

“Yeah it was a privilege sharing the changing room, on the pitch and make this record [with him].”

With Richarlison really struggling of late through injury, how Spurs fans would love to see this duo alongside each other again.
