The Kennedy Family Endorses Joe Biden For President

15 members of the Kennedy family throw their support behind President Biden.

During a campaign event in Pennsylvania on Thursday, President Biden garnered the endorsement of the Kennedy family. Sharing the stage with six children of the late Robert F. Kennedy, including his daughter Kerry Kennedy, the President received high praise. Kerry Kennedy, describing Biden as “my hero,” underscored the familial support for Biden despite the fact that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for office.

“We want to make crystal clear our feeling that the best way forward for America is to re-elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for four more years,” Kerry Kennedy said prompting chants of “four more years” from the audience. She added, “President Biden has been a champion for all the rights and freedoms that my father and uncles stood for.”

Following the event, Biden made a stop at Wawa with Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded to news of his own family’s endorsement of President Biden.”I hear some of my family will be endorsing President Biden today. I am pleased they are politically active — it’s a family tradition. We are divided in our opinions but united in our love for each other.”

After Utah, Michigan is now the second state where Kennedy has officially qualified for the ballot.
