Meghan Markle's strict rule for son Archie she or Prince Harry won't ever ditch

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may not have followed the ‘strict rules’ of the royal family, but there’s one they have for their son Archie, which they’ll never be breaking. Or, allow him to break. And the same seemingly goes for Princess Lilibet.

Prince Harry and Meghan left the royal family four years ago, less than a year after they gave birth to their first child, Prince Archie. As he was just eight months old when his parents left the institution, he wouldn’t remember what life was like there. But one thing he certainly won’t forget is the strict rule parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have set for him.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have one strict rule for their eldest son

In 2022, when Archie was three years old, the Duchess revealed she and her husband were currently trying to teach their eldest his manners. “We always tell him: ‘Manners make the man,” she told The Cut. Manners, manners, manners, manners, manners.’ ”

Markle reveals during one of the ‘lessons’ she recalled something she’d learned when she was younger, from a friend’s mom.

“Salt and pepper are always passed together.

“She said, ‘You never move one without the other.’ That’s me and Harry. We’re like salt and pepper. We always move together.”

Although Archie doesn’t have ‘regular’ parents, the former Suits actress revealed she and Harry try their best to be, even taking him to birthday parties. Of course, everyone was surprised they showed up.

If we took our child to a birthday party, and Meghan was there on the bouncy castle, we’d be surprised too!

Although the mom of two is reportedly said to still be “furious at the way she was treated” in the royal family, she may be “missing some aspects of UK life,” one expert says. They also claim she fears her children will blame her

“A friend of the couple – one of Meghan’s few aristocratic friends from her time in the UK – told me Meghan does miss some aspects of life in the UK,” royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror.

“She worries that her children will blame her if they never get to see their cousins and feel as adults that they have been deprived of what might have been a fun and meaningful existence in the UK as working royals,” he claimed.

However, Quinn said that it would “be a long time” until she returns to the UK. It was previously reported the 42-year-old ‘didn’t feel safe’ traveling to Britain, as Harry is said to have ‘begged’ his wife to join him when he comes next month for the Invictus Games 10th anniversary.

He last made a flying visit to his home country in February, when his father, King Charles announced he had been diagnosed with cancer, however, Meghan and their children remained in the States.
