West Ham United are currently at a crossroads with regards to their manager situation.
Hammers boss David Moyes is out of contract at the end of the season and there hasn’t been any serious indication that he’ll remain at the club past the summer.
Back in February, Moyes revealed that West Ham have offered him a new deal, but he’s waiting until the end of the season before making a decision.
With the Hammers now out of the Europa League and eighth in the Premier League table, it remains to be seen whether he stays put.
It looks as though West Ham have begun approaching replacements for Moyes, and one report out of Italy claims one coach is considering an offer from the Hammers.
According to Il Messaggero, former Chelsea and Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is giving some thought to an approach made by West Ham.
The report claims that the 65-year-old is also considering an offer from Newcastle United, and has turned down Nottingham Forest and Sevilla.
Sarri apparently regrets leaving Chelsea and is keen on a return to the Premier League in the near future.

Sarri would be quite a coup for West Ham. The Italian favours an attacking, possession-based style of football which would surely be a hit with the Hammers fanbase.
Sarri boasts an impressive CV, having worked wonders at Napoli, and also counts Chelsea and Juventus amongst his former employers.
Carlo Ancelotti, now at Real Madrid, had kind words for his compatriot after he led Juve to their ninth consecutive title in 2020.
“They deserved to win the championship,” Ancelotti told Radio Anch’io Sport, via Football Italia.
“Compared to the past, Juve struggled a bit more. It was not plain sailing, there were more uncertainties, especially in the last phase.
“Sarri did an excellent job, he had the ability to adapt well and next year I’m sure he will have a bigger impact. Sarri deserves to be in a big club like the one of Juventus.”
West Ham have the added advantage of being in London, where Sarri worked with Chelsea, so in that sense he would be in a relatively familiar environment.
