The verdict on Celtic team vs Aberdeen

It’s fantastic to see McGregor again fit enough to feature. He’s come off the bench in recent weeks but the manager will understandably want him to be starting this crucial run of matches with trophies on the line.

We predicted Luis Palma would start in our discussion of the fixture earlier this morning but Hyunjun Yang is preferred by Rodgers right now. That’s the only major call in the line-up with the rest of the eleven pretty much picking itself.

The manager does have a strong bench to pick talent from if needed in the second half. Palma, Adam Idah and James Forrest can all make an impact while Tomoki Iwata is on call to relieve the captain.

It’s a good enough unit to get the job done and hopefully we’re all celebrating progression into yet another Scottish Cup final later today.
