Former RHONY star Dorinda Medley has spoken on Crystal Minkoff’s sudden RHOBH exit, saying she “could see it coming” and was “surprised she got three seasons” in the first place.

Dorinda Medley says she “really enjoys Crystal” as she’s “such a nice girl,” adding that she “loves her.” However, she says, “I do think, I hate to say this, Crystal, please, because I texted you this morning…”
Then she added during a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, “I’m surprised she got three seasons.” Dorinda said, “Crystal, not coming back. Crystal from Beverly Hills. I could see that one coming.”
Crystal took to Instagram to reveal she has other work in the pipeline but won’t be returning for the upcoming season. She spoke of how she was so grateful to have been asked back three times.
Crystal and Dorinda’s friendship
Crystal and Dorinda don’t have much of a friendship, but they have met at BravoCon. They share the fact they have both appeared and left Real Housewives franchises after several seasons.
The two are close enough to have each other’s numbers and be texting, though. Plus, Crystal spoke on how much she connected with Dorinda at BravoCon, telling Deadline she “really liked” speaking to her.
Dorinda left RHONY temporarily
Dorinda says Robin Dixon “did a Dorinda” after she said she was fired from The Real Housewives of Potomac, but added, “Mine was a pause. I like that. I feel like that’s one of the most honest things.”
She starred on RHONY for five years, from 2015 to 2020. She later appeared on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season 5 in 2023, two years after she published a memoir called Make It Nice.
