A park café has announced its closure after three years.
Jenny Wren’s in the Park, in Long Melford County Park, near Sudbury, has shut permanently due to the ill health of the owner, Jenny.
In an update from the park, it said: “We're terribly sorry that the café has closed and wish Janet the very best and a speedy recovery
“Janet has delighted so many over the years with her delicious home baked cakes, scrummy lunches and all delivered with cheer and kindness.”
Messages from park-goers have started to pour in, with one saying: “Everyone who knows you will miss you. You were the top attraction.
“You are such a talented lady and there are customers and friends out there who cannot wait to taste your amazing food again.”
