LIVE: UN Security Council Gathers in Real-Time Debate Over UNMIK Report On Kosovo

The UN Security Council is poised to convene on Monday morning at 10 a.m. to analyze the latest UNMIK report on Kosovo.

This critical session comes as the United States urges Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to fulfill long-standing obligations, spanning 11 years, under both the Brussels Agreement and the 2023 Ohrid Agreement, in order to establish the Association of Serb-majority municipalities.

Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Caroline Ziadeh, will present the regular six-monthly report on the work of the UN Mission in Kosovo. Serbian President Vucic is expected to address the chamber.
