'Off the charts angry': Marjorie Taylor Greene warns MAGA more furious now than after 2020

Real America's Voice/screen grab

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) "worried" Monday about what so-called MAGA supporters of Donald Trump might do after House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) pushed through foreign aid packages, including funding for Ukraine.

"This is the most disgusting business model that anyone has ever seen probably in the history of mankind, and the American people are done with it, Steve," Greene told convicted podcast host Steve Bannon. "You don't want to know something? I got to tell you, I've not seen people this angry since November of 2020. I mean, they are off the charts, off the charts angry."

Greene warned there was a "serious difference" between the fury of MAGA supporters now and in the lead-up to Jan. 6, 2021.

"You know, in November of 2020, they were furious, and they were invigorated to do something about it, and they wanted to defend our elections, and they wanted to know what happened and what went wrong," the lawmaker explained. "And that launched a massive wave of election integrity across the country that America needed, desperately needed. There was a, you know, the fight is still going for election integrity, thank God."

"But this time, Steve, this is different," she continued. "They're angry on a whole 'nother level and here's what really worries me. They're done with the Republican Party."

"And voters, voters are so angry this time, but I'm really worried. I am really worried. They're so angry. They're not going to give us the majority back in 2025."

Greene insisted Johnson's speakership must end.

"This is why our Republican majority is going to have to do the heavy lifting," she opined. "And this is why he cannot remain speaker."
