Liverpool are making plans for the summer market it seems despite not knowing who their manager will be and a previous target is now being mentioned again.
The Reds are bound to make a few new signings in the summer. With Jurgen Klopp leaving in the summer, whoever comes in to take over is going to fancy some of his own signings.
Of course, Michael Edwards and FSG will have a big say in who comes and who goes at the club in the summer.
Last summer, Liverpool made a big play to go out and sign new midfielders.
In the main, that has worked out well and the likes of Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister have all slotted in nicely at Anfield.
But now, it looks like the Reds could be back in the mix for a player they considered signing before landing the aforementioned Endo.
Liverpool looking at signing Khephren Thuram again
According to a report from Tuttosport, Juventus are keen on bringing in Thuram, who has once again had an impressive season with Nice.
However, while the report details Juventus’ interest and states how they’d like to sign the Frenchman, it is Liverpool who get a mention once again.
Liverpool were keen on Thuram back in the summer but opted against signing him in the end as other players were brought into the club.
Thuram, though, remains a player high on a number of clubs’ radars this summer.
The ‘fantastic‘ midfielder is already a full French international and is deemed by many to have a big future if he can get his big move done.
Quite whether Liverpool will be the club to go all out for him, remains to be seen.
As it stands, no new manager is in place at Anfield and without knowing who that new coach will be, it’s hard to predict how Liverpool’s business will go.
