Trucker arrested with multiple guns -- and bow and arrow -- in Secaucus: police

A truck driver from Maryland is facing multiple weapons charges after Secaucus police found him with a shotgun, handgun, BB gun and even a bow and arrow, authorities said.

Saul Taylor, 47, of Owings, Maryland was arrested in the area of 20 Enterprise Ave., in the outlet section of the town, on April 16 after police received reports of a suspicious condition involving a trailer, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

Taylor was charged with unlawful possession of a shotgun, a BB gun rifle, BB gun handgun, a retractable baton, a bow and arrow, a handgun and hollow point ammunition. He was also charged with certain persons not to have weapons, specifically the BB rifle, the ammunition, the bow and arrow and the retractable baton.

All of the weapons were located the tractor trailer, Miller said. Taylor was issued his complaint warrant and was taken to the Hudson County jail.
