Powerball winning numbers, live results for Monday’s $115M drawing

The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $115 million with a cash option of $53.1 million.

The winning numbers were: 12, 16, 33, 39 and 52. The Powerball drawn was 1 with a Power Play of 2X.

No one across the country hit Saturday’s $103 million jackpot. A pair of second-prize, $1 million tickets were sold — one apiece in Ohio and Puerto Rico. Each matched five numbers but not the Powerball.

In New Jersey, a third-prize $50,000 ticket was bought at Wawa on Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township in Atlantic County. It matched four numbers plus the Powerball.

Saturday’s winning numbers were: 4, 35, 41, 48, 58. The Powerball drawn was 25 with a Power Play of 3X.

In addition, no one hit the secondary, $10 million Double Play drawing or the second-prize of $500,000. Those winning numbers were: 25, 28, 36, 38 and 68. The Double Play number drawn was 23.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $202 million with a cash option of $91.3 million.
