Police attend after van stuck under Stonea railway bridge and two car collision

Three vehicles were involved in two incidents yesterday, causing damage to a bridge.

Officers were called on Monday at 4.20pm after reports of a van stuck under a bridge at Sixteen Foot Bank in Stonea.

Shortly afterwards they were called to reports of a collision between two cars in the same area.

There were no reports of any serious injuries and no arrests were made.

All three vehicles were removed and other agencies were called to assess the damage to the bridge.
