Newcastle injury woes

Newcastle United have simply been hampered by injuries this season.

Eddie Howe‘s side have arguably been struck worse than any other side in the entirety of the Premier League, with a plethora of seriously important names out in each fixture.

The Newcastle manager has now confirmed two of these names won’t play a single minute more for the rest of the season.

Yankuba Minteh future

With all these injuries, a bit of reassurance for next season is knowing how much stronger the first-team squad should hopefully be.

Not only will Newcastle have players recovering, but they should also be active on the transfer market – even with FFP restrictions.

There are also a few players who will be coming back from loan – including the fabulous Yankuba Minteh. But could he be in contention to be among the first-team squad next season?

Garang Kuol future

Such as Minteh may be coming back, and Garang Kuol is also a loanee youngster who could be knocking around the Newcastle United Training Centre next season.

The young Aussie arrived in January 2023 with a lot of hype surrounding him, with some onlookers describing him as one of the most exciting talents in world football.

He has since been on loan, so what does next season hold?

Alexander Isak – what do Newcastle think?

But such as some players could join/return – others run the risk of leaving St James’ Park for good.

One of these players whose future has definitely looked uncertain as of late has to be Alexander Isak. There has been speculation he could be moving to another Premier League club.

But what do Newcastle United really want to do with him?
