Jerry Green Dog Rescue, which operates across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, launches 60 Miles in May challenge

A 60-mile charity challenge has been set to help raise vital funds for dogs in need.

Throughout May, Jerry Green Dog Rescue is once again asking supporters to lace up their trainers, grab their swimsuit or dust off their pogo stick.

The 60 Miles in May challenge is tailored to individual preferences, and participants can complete their miles in a way that suits them — whether that be running, walking, swimming, or even pogo-sticking — while supporting Jerry Green Dog Rescue’s mission.

A dedicated Facebook group has also been set up by Jerry Green Dog Rescue where participants and supporters can share their progress.

There’s also prizes on offer for taking part — fundraisers who raise £30 will earn a ‘60 Miles in May’ medal, while raising £150 will earn participants a ‘60 Miles in May’ water bottle.

Challengers who go above and beyond to raise an incredible £300 or more will be awarded with a ‘60 Miles in May 2024’ hoodie.
