Although a missile threat was announced in the south, no air raid warnings were sounded.
According to Andriushchenko, there were no recorded hits in the city, but there is a possibility that there were hits in the Mariupol district. Missile launches from Russian ships in the Sea of Azov are also considered a possibility.

Russian monitoring Telegram channels later reported an alleged rocket firing from Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) with a range of up to 300 km towards the town of Kurakhove in the Ukrainian-controlled part of Donetsk Oblast.
Earlier, on April 19, Andriushchenko reported three explosions which targeted a Russian command post at the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works in Mariupol.
