A welcome £2,880 was raised by Grantchester Charity Runs for its two partner charities, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) and Maggie’s Centre Cambridge.
And they will also benefit from this year’s 10k and 3k runs, for which the Cambridge Independent is again media partner.
Christie Marrian, one of the event organisers, said: “The weather gods were kind to us last year so fingers crossed for another great day to support two amazing Addenbrooke’s-based charities.”
