Expect Cadamarteri to play another important role next season.

He’s been in and out of the side of late, but now on a long-term contract and having gained vital experience, he’ll know exactly what it takes to succeed next time round.

Then Phuthi will also be hoping to get some more first-team minutes, along with full-back Gui Siqueira who’s also made his first-team debut this season.

Goalkeeper Pierce Charles will also be looking to make the no.2 spot his own next time round.

Names like U21s duo Favour Onukwuli and Sam Reed have been mentioned alongside potential new contracts as well.

Journalist Joe Crann posted on X on Wednesday, revealing that Moses is expected to sign a professional contract with the Owls this summer.

Building for the future under Danny Rohl

Sheffield Wednesday are really starting to turn some corners.

There’s still the huge obstacle of Championship survival, which is far from guaranteed but should they achieve that then it looks like the Owls could be in for a very positive future.

At least in the short-term.

Dejphon Chansiri still needs to prove his worth and prove to Rohl that the club can go places.

Rohl has spoken often about bringing the gap between youth teams and the first-team, and he’s made a start on that this season.

And in names like Cadamarteri and Charles, Rohl has unearthed two very exciting prospects, with more seemingly on the way.

Moses could now be in line for some first-team appearances next time round, along with a horde of other players.

Things are certainly looking up at Sheffield Wednesday, who return to action against West Brom at Hillsborough this weekend.
