Ukrainian soldiers repelled a Russian attack on the left bank of the Dnipro River and destroyed three reconnaissance drones. Meanwhile, the occupiers carried out an air strike in the area of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling of Ukraine
During the past day, 84 military clashes were recorded. In total, the enemy delivered 13 missile and 51 aerial strikes, and carried out 16 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of our troops and civilian areas.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population. Multi-story and private houses, as well as other infrastructure objects, have been damaged and destroyed.
Situation at frontlines
In the Volyn and Polissia direction, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed in the formation of enemy offensive groupings.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske direction, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and shells civilian settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.
More than 20 settlements, including Khotiivka, Leonivka in the Chernihiv region; Popivka, Simeykyne, Pokrovka in the Sumy region; Veterynarne, Kudiivka, Hatysche, Pletenivka in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.
In the Kupiansk direction, our troops repelled 1 attack in the area of the settlement of Berestove, the Kharkiv region. Approximately 10 settlements, including Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane in the Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 18 attacks in the areas of Serebrianske forestry, Nevske in the Luhansk region; Terny and Torske in the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted an airstrike in the area of Serebrianske forestry in the Luhansk region.
Over 10 settlements suffered from artillery and mortar shelling, including Makiivka in the Luhansk region; Terny, Yampolivka, Torske in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 13 attacks in the areas of settlements Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region; Vyimka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Additionally, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of settlements Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
More than 10 settlements, including Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 15 attacks in the areas of settlements Ocheretyne, Novokalynove, Berdychiv, and Netaylove in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, attempted to displace our units from their positions.
Additionally, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of settlements Kalynove, Vovche, Oleksandrivka, Arkhangelske in the Donetsk region. Over 10 settlements, including Keramik, Arkhangelske, Solovyove, Umanske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of settlements Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted to break through our troops' defense 16 times. The enemy conducted an airstrike in the area of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.
More than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maksymilianivka, Paraskeviivka in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders once in the area of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. They also conducted an airstrike in the area of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Approximately 20 settlements, including Chervone, Bilohirya, Robotyne, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of settlements Beryslav, Olhivka, Krynky in the Kherson region. Approximately 20 settlements, including Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Tokarivka in the Kherson region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
Situation on the left bank of the Dnipro River
The enemy persists in its intention to displace our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
Indeed, during the day, they launched one unsuccessful attack on the positions of our troops in the area of the settlement of Krynky in the Kherson region.
Russian losses
During the day, the Defense Forces aviation struck 11 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
Additionally, using the means of air defense, Ukraine destroyed 1 guided aviation missile Kh-59 and 3 reconnaissance drones of the enemy.
