Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood has now admitted what he and his teammates have done since the controversial defeat on the weekend.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side were yet again on the end of another disappointing officiating display from the referee and VAR against Everton.
The Toffees came out of the game with all three points after three big decisions did not go in the favour of the travelling Forest.
And it is apparent there was a real frustration within the club on the back of the game as they released a spikey statement on social media.
It has now even been claimed that the Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis is considering legal action if his side are to go down this season.
But at the centre of the decisions are the players who are having to battle away at the wrong end of the table with the belief decisions are going against them.
Ahead of the game against Manchester City on the weekend, Chris Wood has shared what the players have done since the Goodison Park debacle.

Coming to the end of the 2023/24 campaign, the New Zealand striker has been perhaps the standout performer for the Reds this season.
Wood has been in fine form for Forest this season having now netted 12 goals in the Premier League lone.
And he will be looking to find the back of the net again having gone the last two games against Wolves and Everton without scoring.
But the main focal point of recent months at the City Ground has been the frustrations surrounding the decisions which have prevented them from scoring even more goals.
Speaking to The Telegraph ahead of the game on the weekend, Wood has given an insight on the mood amongst the players.
“We were all angry after the game, upset and frustrated,” he says. “I think a lot of clubs have had a lot [of bad decisions] but I do think we’ve had more than our fair share this season – more than we did last season.
“Everybody will complain about VAR in some ways but ultimately we have had a lot [go against us]. We can’t make the decisions, we can only control what happens on the pitch and how we play.
“It’s unfortunate but we parked it the following day. We’ve got four games left in quick succession and we can’t be down about it. We need to get focused and go again.”

The statement made after the game saw a lot of criticism from the media and Gary Neville has even suggested it could have an effect on the players.
Speaking earlier this week the Sky Sports pundit claimed it is causing an unnecessary distraction for the players who are now being roped into talking about it.
“That might sound really crazy but when you put that negativity drain in, when you have your manager and players – Neco Williams is probably a really good lad, but he’s now talking about and probably going to get in trouble for it, referees,” Neville said.
“The manager is talking about referees. The fans are. They’re all consumed with this idea that everyone is against us. It’s not working for them the strategy.”
And there may certainly be some truth in these comments as Wood is clearly an example of how the players’ focus could well be placed elsewhere ahead of four huge games for the club.
