Trump whines court being kept 'very cold on purpose' as day 5 of Pecker testimony begins

Donald Trump believes the courtroom for his hush money trial is being deliberately kept freezing, he said Friday.

Speaking to the "press" at the Manhattan courthouse where he is facing 34 felony counts in his hush money trial, Trump bgain by wishing his wife Melania a happy birthday, before heading into his latest conspiracy theory.

Justice Juan Merchan's courtroom, which even the judge has complained is cold, is being purposefully kept frigid, Trump said.

As he faces a fifth day of former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker testifying about an arrangement the two had to hide damaging Trump stories before the 2016 election, the embattled former president also once again complained about having to show up for court four out of seven days a week.

After telling reporters he would be forgoing campaigning over the weekend to attend his wife Melania's birthday party at his Mar-a-Lago resort, the former president recited his daily litany of complaints about the hush money trial that could lead to jail time.

After telling reporters, "I think yesterday went very well in this courthouse — should be over, the case is over," Trump later added, "So we have another day of court in a freezing court, in the courthouse, it's very cold on purpose I believe."

"They don't seem to be able to get the temperature up," he continued to complain. "It shouldn't be that complicated, but we have a freezing court and that's fine, that's just fine."
