Georgia just added its third transfer portal commitment of the offseason and second from Mount St. Mary’s. 6-foot-5, First-Team All-MAAC guard Dakota Leffew announced his commitment to the Bulldogs on Saturday morning. Last season, Leffew averaged 17.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

Leffew will have just one year of eligibility remaining as he joins a Georgia team that returns Silas Demary, Blue Cain, Dylan James and Frank Anselem-Ibe after a run to the NIT semifinals. The Bulldogs won 20 games for the first time in eight seasons and add to their roster five-star plus+ forward Asa Newell, along with the aforementioned MAAC Rookie of the Year De’Shayne Montgomery and Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year Justin Abson. With Leffew’s addition, Georgia has five open spots remaining.
