Tottenham urged to ‘do a job’ on Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard

Speaking on TalkSport, O’Hara urged Tottenham to do all they can to limit Martin Odegaard from playing his game, with the £35m Arsenal star currently one of the most dangerous midfielders in the Premier League.

O’Hara said about the North London Derby and how Tottenham can win: “It’s going to be a great game. We have to stop Arsenal’s midfield. You have to stop Odegaard. Odegaard, you have to do a job on him.”

The pundit added when asked which player do Tottenham use to stop Odegaard from running the show again for Arsenal: “Bissouma or Sarr. I am not a massive fan of Sarr, but he has got energy. You have got to stop them playing in midfield.

“That has to be the key. That is the key area. If they start playing through you and Odegaard starts running the game, you are in big trouble because he is the one who will make the key passes.”

Odegaard could dictate the outcome of the North London Derby

Odegaard was the star of the show last year for Arsenal in their away trip to Tottenham, with the Norweigian international eager to replicate his heroics this afternoon with the Premier League title on the line.

And the 25-year-old’s performance could dictate which way the North London Derby goes, with Odegaard being marked out from the game something that could have a huge impact on Arsenal’s overall output.

Indeed, Odegaard having the usual amount of freedom the midfielder is used to could be all it takes for Arsenal to record a historic win against Tottenham, and fans will hope the playmaker is at his best this afternoon.
