'You will go crazy': Erling Haaland makes comment about Arsenal after helping Manchester City win again

Manchester City continued to keep pace with Arsenal as they beat Nottingham Forest today and Erling Haaland has been speaking to the press about the title race.

Haaland returned from injury to come off the bench for City and seal the deal at the City Ground and keep things going for another weekend in the title race.

After seeing Arsenal sneak past Tottenham, Haaland and his City teammates knew that it was all about continuing their own form.

And that they did, as both Josko Gvardiol and then Haaland netted to seal the win.

Of course, attention quickly turned to what’s next for both City and Arsenal and speaking about the Gunners after the game, Haaland commented.

When asked by Sky Sports about Arsenal and how it feels to be chasing them again, Haaland replied in typical fashion.

“I think the most important thing is to not think, especially in these moments. It’s about taking day by day. Honestly, if you overthink it, you will go crazy in your head. Relax now, enjoy, focus on the next one,” Haaland said.

Erling Haaland knows what it takes to hunt Arsenal down

The big problem Arsenal have this year is that like before, City know what it takes to win and like last season, they are being hunted.

As Haaland says here, City’s mindset is very much just onto the next one and carry on. That’s a worrying feeling for Arsenal and they must know deep down that City aren’t going to slip up.

Of course, anything is possible in football and you simply never know what might happen.

But with Haaland returning from injury for the final games and all those games being very winnable on paper, it looks like the writing is on the all.

Arsenal, then, need to keep winning and pray for a minor miracle with City’s results.
