A bake sale was put on to raise money for a good cause that helps youngsters.
Kelsey Tromanhauser-Barbour, a student at 1-2 Achieve based in Wisbech, organised a family and friends bake sale on Thursday for Young Minds, a charity that helps support young people with mental health.
From the bake sale and a tombola, £465 was raised that will be going to the charity.
The manager of 1-2 Achieve matched the amount and put in £155 and Kelsey’s dad also matched that amount which bumped up the fund.
Angela Schrier, who helped on the day, said: “It was amazingly successful, everyone definitely had a good time.
“We sold out of all the food including cakes and cheese straws.”
Kelsey chose to raise money for the chosen charity because she knows people at the school who have challenges with their mental health, especially coming up to their exams.
