Diss walk part of a series of walking events organised by The Cinnamon Trust

An event highlighting the importance of the bonds we share with our pets, is to take place on Monday.

As part of a nationwide initiative, Diss will be one of the places hosting a three mile walk for charity, setting off from the park’s pavilion at 10am on Monday, as part of The Cinnamon Trust’s The Big Walk. Refreshments and a cake sale will also take place from 12.00 at The Methodist Church in Victoria Road.

Each walk will be led by charity volunteers, who assist pet owners with care needs and ensure that people and their pets are kept together. The Cinnamon Trust values the special bond between owners and their pets and provides a lifeline for both. By working with a dedicated network of more than 20,000 volunteers, The Trust assists owners when any aspect of the day-to-day care of their pets poses a problem, in turn saving a great deal of sorrow and pain.
