Dominik Szoboszlai on his two best friends at Liverpool

It seems he has integrated into the Liverpool team very well with the 23-year-old becoming key figure in the squad. And very popular among the Liverpool supporters as well.

The Hungarian Football Federation (MLSZ) has released a short documentary about Szoboszlai’s time at Liverpool so far.

In that documentary which you can watch on YouTube (English subtitles are provided), Szoboszlai was asked about which player he gets on well with the most in the Liverpool team.

The first player he mentioned is perhaps no surprise in Trent Alexander-Arnold,as their friendship has been well documented now. However, he also mentioned a new name from the Liverpool squad as well.

“At the start it was Trent [Alexander-Arnold] and it is still him,” Szoboszlai said.

“But as I’ve settled into the team, I can say it’s Salah, too. I’ve found common ground with everyone, so I can talk with everyone. Everyone gets on well with each other and although there aren’t many group events but when there is, everyone is there.”

Why Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah friendship makes sense

There is a lot of similarity between Szoboszlai and Salah. Like Salah, Szoboszlai is an ambitious player who is a true professional and who always wants to deliver his best form on the pitch.

On top of that, like Salah, Szoboszlai is also an iconic figure in his country, and the captain of his national team. They both shoulder huge responsibility representing their entire nations when they wear the Liverpool colours.

So with that being said, their friendship makes total sense.
