Affecting all of Kent, residents are being warned the inclement weather will likely to lead to travel disruption and some flooding.

Weather experts say there is a chance businesses and homes could become flooded quickly following the downpours, with damage to buildings also possible because of floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.

Where flooding and lightning strikes occur, there is also a chance of delays and cancellations to train and bus services.

Motorists are also being told to take care on the roads as spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.

There is also a chance of power outages because of the weather.
