Four people taken to hospital after accidental fire at Nene Quay home in Wisbech

Police have revealed that four people were taken to hospital as a precaution after a house fire in Wisbech on Monday.

At 12.44pm on Monday, two fire crews from Wisbech attended a house fire on Nene Quay in town where an outbuilding was ablaze.

Officers from the Wisbech Neighbourhood Policing Team, and Fenland Response Team also attended the fire as well as the East of England Ambulance Service.

All three emergency services worked closely together to deal with this incident.

Nene Quay was closed while the incident was ongoing.

Four people were taken to hospital to be checked over, but no injuries were reported from the scene.
