West Ham finally playing smart with genius move reportedly lined up to sell 25-year-old Hammer

Nathan Trott is currently spending the season away from West Ham on loan, and we apparently have a very clever move lined up to sell him permanently.

West Ham owned goalkeeper Nathan Trott moved to the London Stadium from Bermudan side North Village Rams in 2016.

The 25-year-old recently admitted that he could actually leave the Hammers on a permanent basis this summer.

That was in spite of admitting that it is his dream to become the number one goalkeeper at the London Stadium.

Trott is currently spending the season on loan with Danish outfit Vejle BK. During his stint out in Denmark, he has conceded 32 goals in 27 games for Vejle BK, keeping six clean sheets in the process (Transfermarkt).

And now West Ham seemingly have a very clever plan in place for the Bermudan…

West Ham have a really clever Nathan Trott move planned

The 6ft 5in goalkeeper is obviously good enough for the Danish league, but it’s very debatable if he has a future at the very highest level in England.

In fact, I would go as far as saying that he definitely isn’t good enough to play for West Ham.

And now the Hammers have apparently made a truly brilliant decision regarding the stopper’s future…

Tipsbladet claim that numerous Danish clubs are interested in signing the Hammers owned goalkeeper this summer, as well as a couple of clubs from other leagues.

It is also suggested that West Ham are keen to extend the 25-year-old’s current contract by a further two years, but only so we are able to get a fee for him.

That would make such a refreshing change. Are we finally starting to act like a proper football club should act?

It’s no coincidence to me that decisions like this are being made after the arrival of Tim Steidten 10 months ago.

Hopefully West Ham manage to get a decent fee for Nathan Trott this summer.
